Former Super Eagles captain says he hates African referees

Enyeama says he hates African referees while reacting to the penalty against Nigeria.



Former Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama has revealed that he hates African referees while reacting to the controversial penalty decision against Nigeria on Friday, November 10.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria settled for a 1-1 draw with Algeria in a 2018 FIFA World Cupqualifier in Constantine.
John Ogu had given the Super Eagles the lead in the 62nd minute with a left-footed curler from 20 yards before the Algerians equalised late on from the penalty spot.

The penalty decision was a controversial one as replays show that Shehu Abdullahi did not foul the Algerian player.
Enyeama like many was stunned by the decision and reacted on Twitter.

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand is not happy with Liverpool’s team following their 3-3 away draw with Sevilla in Tuesday’s night Champions League game. The Reds threw away a 3-0 first-half lead as the Spanish club hit back to equalise all three goals in the second half of the game. Former Super Eagles and Everton striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, on Wednesday announced the date of his retirement from playing football. Yakubu, whose football career has spanned 20-years, left League two side, Coventry in April having made just three appearances for the Sky Blues.
